“The Cab” is coming!

ASAP held a revealing during their Hollywood Late Night to announce the performer for their spring concert. The pop rock band The Cab will be coming to campus on Saturday, April 6 to perform in Dahl Chapel.

Emily Orenstein, Performing Arts chair for ASAP, said several hundred students participated in the one night only voting ASAP had for the Spring Concert. Out of the votes, Orenstein was not sure which performer would win. The announcement was made on Friday, Feb. 8, to the students who attended the Late Night event.

“I wasn’t expecting as big of a winner,” she said. “The Cab won by a landslide.”

The Cab recently opened for Maroon 5 in their latest tour gaining recognition.  The band now has several radio hits including “Bad” and “La La.”

Students interested in seeing The Cab on Campus can purchase up to five tickets with a Monmouth College ID for $5 each. Tickets are sold at tables during meal times, in the ASAP office or online.
