Distinguished alumnus to visit MC

Bill Wanderer `01 will be visiting campus next week as part of the Alumni Distinguished Visitor program. Wanderer graduated from Monmouth College in 2001 with a double major in political science and communications. He went on to complete his master’s degree in international relations from the University of Chicago. From 2004-05 he was a nonproliferation graduate fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Wanderer returned to the NNSA in 2007 and currently serves as a foreign affairs specialist implementing the 1993 U.S. – Russia highly Enriched Uranium (HEU) Purchase Agreement.
Wanderer will present a campus forum, “Megatons to Megawatts” – Nuclear Nonproliferation and Threat Reduction, Monday, Oct. 7 at 4 p.m. in the Center for Science and Business Moot Board Room.
