Advice with some spice

November 1, 2013

Guest Writers Sassafras and Wild Thyme are filling in this week!

Q: I really love Halloween, but I’m not sure how I can celebrate. What should I do this weekend?

Sassafras: I’ve been gearing up for Halloween for weeks now, so you’ve asked the right person! Spending time with friends is most definitely the best way to celebrate. Hopefully you’ve been taking advantage of all the Halloween-themed events on campus, because the haunted house and costume contests were a blast! If you’re into dancing and music, be sure to check out some of the weekend Halloween parties. I always have a blast dancing to Ke$ha with my girls! But if you like staying in, put in a copy of “Hocus Pocus,” make some popcorn and invite some friends over for a good movie night.
Hope you have a great Halloween!

Wild Thyme: I absolutely love Halloween! Its always a great time to not take yourself too seriously and to try on different identities. Dressing up and going to a party on campus could be gnarly, bro. If that’s not your thing and you want to be creeped out, try taking a suspenseful ride on Cry-baby bridge. Pretty sure it could scare the costume makeup right off your face. I personally think the best thing for this weekend would be to hang out with your best pals and have an open mind.
Have a Spooktacular Halloween!
